Keren Aminia

Director of Business Operations
As Director of Business Operations, Keren leads Events Strategy and Execution for Magento and is the Executive Producer of Magento events spanning the globe, including the award winning Imagine conference. Keren’s tenure with the company has seen her champion many successes while under the previously held role of CFO, including oversight of the Finance and Operation Organizations, HR, Business Affairs and Administration.

Prior to joining Magento, Keren held senior management roles at Kushner Locke, Fox Studios, Spelling Entertainment and provided consulting services for a multitude of additional companies. She began her career as an Auditor at Teledyne Inc.

Keren holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business from UCLA, an A.S. in Photography, and is CPA certified.

Darren Burris

Head of Worldwide Channel Sales & Alliances
Darren and his team focus on advancing our strong channel partner ecosystem and developing market-leading solutions for our customers.

Darren has held a number of Alliance leadership positions at industry leading software and technology services organizations in the eCommerce and Customer Experience space. Previously, Darren was Vice President of Alliances at SapientNitro, where he was responsible for the development and execution of strategies to drive increased revenue and market opportunity through partnerships. Prior, Darren spent a number of years leading Worldwide Channel Sales and Strategic Alliances at ATG, before joining Oracle via acquisition as the Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Oracle Commerce.

Darren holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

John S. Couch

Head of Design
John S. Couch is the Head of Design and Senior Creative Director for Magento. Throughout his tenure with the company, John’s built a world-class design team that oversees Visual Design, Marketing Design and Event Design. Together, they are responsible for driving design and brand strategy for Magento’s current and emerging products.

Prior to joining Magento, John was formerly an Entertainment and Technology Consultant focusing on cross-platform content strategies and development for television, film, Internet, mobile, video games and emerging new media platforms. Earlier roles include VP at both CBS interactive and Digital Kitchen, as well as noteworthy positions at FLO TV, Wired Magazine and internet-pioneer Hotwired. John’s many contributions have led to the success of Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and the CSI Franchise, to name a few.

In his spare time, John frequently speaks on the future of entertainment and transmedia storytelling. He has presented at numerous media and entertainment conferences and is a standing member of both the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Writer’s Guild of America.

Robert Mason

Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Robert Mason is responsible for managing all financial-related activity for the business. He and his team oversee strategic financial planning, analysis and accounting.

Robert joined the Magento team in 2011 after being CFO and Director of Operations for (another eBay Inc. company). Prior to joining the eBay family in 2006, Robert worked as a Corporate Controller and various other Finance related roles for a number of companies spanning industries including retail, game development, promotional toy manufacturing, and eCommerce.

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Accounting from Claremont McKenna College.

Sharon Meers

Head of Enterprise Strategy
Sharon Meers leads the Enterprise Strategy for Magento. She is responsible for opening up new markets and bringing merchants and businesses to the Magento ecosystem.

Sharon was previously a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where she worked for 16 years. In 1999, she opened a private banking office in Menlo Park to address the fast-growing Silicon Valley business. From 2002-2004, Sharon ran the national product management team in Goldman Sachs Asset Management focused on the private banking business, and in 2005 she moved to equity research in San Francisco.

In 2005, Sharon left Goldman to research and write Getting to 50/50, which has been featured in many publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Fortune. Sharon moved into the technology industry in 2009 – she joined Palm where she ran business operations for product marketing through Palm's acquisition by Hewlett-Packard in 2010.

Sharon has a BA in History from Harvard University and an MA in Economics from New York University.

Craig Peasley

Head of Marketing
Craig leads the marketing team for Magento, overseeing programs and go to market strategies to enable merchant, developer, and partner success. His team is also responsible for brand, product marketing, customer acquisition & retention, as well as social media efforts.

Craig brings to the position 16 years of marketing experience and has successfully launched and grown new products/services, generating revenue across Consumer and Small Business to-Enterprise markets for Internet and Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to joining Magento, Craig was Senior Director of Marketing for Shutterfly, where he led the go-to-market planning and launch of a new greeting card brand, Treat, across digital and mobile platforms. Before Shutterfly, Craig was Senior Director of Marketing for MyBuys, overseeing all marketing functions and establishing it as the #1 Software as a Service provider of cross-channel personalization in retail ecommerce. He has also held senior marketing roles at Yahoo, Safeway, and Mattel Interactive.

Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics & Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Ben Pressley

Head of Worldwide Sales
Ben Pressley is the Head of Worldwide Sales for Magento. Ben and his team strategically align Magento products and services to businesses in need of the solutions necessary to compete in a rapidly changing commerce landscape.

As a customer advocate, Ben passionately leads programs that provide insights and clarity to help foster our customers' ongoing success. Ben brings to Magento a decade of open source software experience, having held Sales and Channel leadership positions at Novel in its open source business unit.

Ben holds a Masters of Information Systems from both the University of Utah and an MBA from Columbia University.

Susie M. Sedlacek

Head of Professional Services
Susie Sedlacek joined Magento in December 2010. Susie heads up global Professional Services, where she is responsible for enabling customers and the Magento ecosystem. She is also responsible for driving customer success initiatives for strategic accounts. Susie brings to Magento 20+ years of building and scaling customer services aimed at meeting the needs of large as well as fast-growing enterprises within the U.S. and internationally.

Prior to Magento, Susie led Global Services at the open-source, PHP company, Zend Technologies Inc. At Zend, she initiated and built out a full training and certification program around PHP and Zend Framework, leveraging a community format involving the developer community, customers and partners. Prior to Zend, Susie held executive positions at the global level at Active Decisions, Niku, Serviceware, Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard. She was instrumental in building service offerings for these companies during stages of high growth and entry into enterprise markets. Susie started her career in management consulting at SRI International.

Susie has an MBA and a BS in Economics from the University of San Francisco.

Libby Unger

Director of Business Strategy and Operations
Libby is responsible for strategic and operational planning across company verticals, aligning processes and implementing business measures to ensure optimal business performance.

Prior to joining Magento, Libby was Managing Director at Lumineau Consulting where she partnered with senior business leaders to re-align priorities by identifying and executing the business solutions required to address strategic and operational challenges to sustainably meet customer, employee and shareholder needs. Libby’s also held senior positions at Raytheon, Aviva North America, Deloitte Consulting, and AAA.

Libby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University.
