It’s difficult to believe, but it’s already time for the fifth year of Magento Masters, a program that recognizes top contributors in our ecosystem. In the past two days we shared this year’s Movers and Mentors with you. Today we reveal the 10 Magento Masters selected as Makers.
Makers are frequent contributors valued by Magento and other community members. They actively engage with others in the Magento Community, sharing ideas, insights, and constructive feedback.
We are so incredibly excited to introduce you to our Makers for the 2020 Magento Masters program:
CEO, Veriteworks Inc.
Momoko Asaka is CEO of Veriteworks Inc. Her first contact with Magento was in 2012, and she has been working to spread it in Japan ever since. She has organized Magento events, including Meet Magento Japan and Magento Meetup Kansai, and has trained in-house Magento engineers. In addition, as a psychological counselor she provides mental healthcare for engineers and performs EC site analysis and construction using her knowledge of psychology. She is a big fan of Snoopy.
Momoko was selected as a Magento Master for 2020 based on her 2019 contributions organizing Meet Magento Japan and Magento Meetup Kansai.
Technical Lead Developer, Atwix
Dmytro Cheshun is a technical lead developer at Atwix. His passion is handling complex Magento projects that require non-standard solutions. Dmytro focuses on personal development and growth. He is 7x Magento Certified and has been an active Magento Core contributor since his first pull request in 2017. In 2019 Dmytro became a part of the Magento Community Maintainers team. In his spare time, he likes traveling with his wife and enjoy taking road trips.
Dmytro was selected as a Magento Master for 2020 based on his 2019 contributions on GitHub and for serving as a Community Maintainer on GitHub.
VP of development and Magento U trainer, Wagento
Vijay Golani is a VP of development at Wagento and a Magento U trainer. Vijay’s career started with Magento Commerce in 2009. During the initial years, he gained experience in different skills, including Magento customization, extension development/integration, API integration, and Magento performance. He extensively focuses on code quality. Vijay is one of the worldwide developer trainers for Magento U and regularly speaks at Magento events. He is a Workgroup Events team member for the Magento Association and organizes MageYoga at Magento Imagine. When not working, Vijay enjoys his family, watching cricket matches, and running.
Vijay was selected as a Magento Master for 2020 based on his 2019 contributions organizing Meet Magento India, Distributed Magento Contribution Day India, and Ahmedabad Magento Meetup, as well as educating the community through speaking engagements on Magento 2 migration best practices.
Backend Developer, Vaimo
Oleksandr Kravchuk began working with Magento five years ago as a student in his second year of study. He cannot say that it was love at first sight, but the experience awoke his love for technical challenges and difficulties. After passing the Magento Developer Plus and Magento 2 Professional Developer exams, Oleksandr started to participate in the Magento Contribution program. Shortly after, his passion for contribution was recognized, and he became a Community Maintainer. Oleksandr’s search for technical challenges led him to become a contributor to the Magento 2 Inventory project and to take part in the development of Magento In-Store Pickup functionality.
Oleksander was selected as a Magento Master for 2020 based on his 2019 contributions on GitHub, serving as a Community Maintainer on GitHub, and educating the community through speaking engagements.
Engineering Manager, Corra
Kalpesh Mehta started working on Magento in early 2011. He enjoys the technical challenges thrown at him when leading various Adobe Commerce Cloud and Magento Commerce projects at Corra, a Magento Global Elite solution partner. Kalpesh is 7x Magento Certified and is a proud member of the Magento 2 Certifications Advisory Board. He is a Magento Community contributor and maintainer, Top 50 contributor in 2018, and the organizer of Los Angeles and Mumbai Magento Meetups. He is an advocate for Magento security and spreads security awareness in the community in various ways.
Kalpesh was selected as a Magento Master for 2020 based on his 2019 contributions co-organizing the Los Angeles Magento Group, contributing to Magento’s GitHub repositories, and serving as a Community Maintainer, as well as educating the community about Magento security through speaking engagements and leading a DevExchange discussion.
Event Director, SNOW.DOG
Marta Molińska is the Meet Magento Poland organizer. Since 2012 she has been associated with SNOW.DOG, where she organizes Magento Meetups, Contribution Days, and the annual Meet Magento Poland. In addition, Marta started a series of Meet Magento Academy trainings and brought them to the university program. She's also a mother of two girls and a skydiving instructor in Poland.
Marta was selected as a Magento Master for 2020 based on her 2019 contributions organizing Meet Magento Poland, Contribution Days, and the Magento #madeInPoznan Meetup.
Software Developer, Krish TechnoLabs
Ronak Patel is a software developer at Krish TechnoLabs. He has more than four years of retail domain experience, with a vision to become proficient in managing teams and mastering the processes of coding standard management. Since joining he started getting familia with the Magento Community contribution procedure and used his spare time to coordinate and review Magento contributions. He intensively worked directly with Magento on Magento 2 Community projects. In April 2019 he became a part of the Magento Community and Magento DevDocs Maintainers Team. He likes to spend leisure time with loved ones and playing cricket.
Ronak was selected as a Magento Master for 2020 based on his 2019 contributions on GitHub and for serving as a Community Maintainer on GitHub.
Technical Director, interactiv4
Óscar Recio is the technical director at interactiv4. His first contact with Magento was in 2009; it became his main framework in 2011. Óscar has worked with large companies, transforming their ways of selling and improving their sales channels to keep growing. He is an active member of the Magento Community, contributing, sharing knowledge and ideas, and, above all, learning from others.
Óscar was selected as a Magento Master for 2020 based on his 2019 contributions organizing the Meet Magento Spain Contribution Day, contributing to Magento’s GitHub repositories and serving as a Community Maintainer, as well as helping to translate Magento into Spanish.
Team Lead, VEN Commerce Ltd.
Ihor Sviziev is a team lead at VEN Commerce Ltd., with nine years of experience as a software engineer. His journey with Magento started in early 2013 with Magento CE 1.7. Ihor has passed the Certified Magento 1 Developer and Certified Magento 2 Solution Specialist exams. Since late 2017 he has been an active Magento 2 Open Source Maintainer. He likes to solve real production issues that break websites. When he's not working, he likes to spend time with family, especially his little son, going to the gym, and traveling.

Vlad Veselov started his journey into the world of eCommerce when he joined Magento back in 2011. Since 2015, he started to bring real-world stories into life rather than core development, working for different companies and as an independent consultant. In his free time, besides hanging out on GitHub, he enjoys sambo, climbing, and crossfit.
