The Irish Store needed a site to sell clothes online that fit them as perfectly as their finely-crafted Aran Cardigan fit customers. They decided to make the seamless migration to Magento 2.

Their heavily-customized Magento 1 site had previously slowed down the customer checkout process. But with the fully-upgraded Magento 2 eCommerce platform, not only is checkout streamlined, customer service agents can manage orders directly from the Magento Admin Panel, allowing them to add items to a customer’s cart, apply promotional codes, and better support the customer during checkout. To promote customer engagement and encourage clothes online sales, The Irish Store added Save for Later, Favorites, and Share with Friends functionality.

The brand wanted to ease the pressure by expanding scalability and improving site performance for the upcoming season. The Irish Store launched their mobile friendly website with a responsive design in just four months. Since launch, page load times have improved by 90 percent. Website management is simplified, enabling The Irish Store to make changes quickly, and increasing their conversion rate by 16 percent.
Thanks to Magento 2 functionality, development time for marketing and conversion features has decreased. Access to customer data through the new Magento Admin Panel enabled customer service to minimize on-call time by 23 percent.
