Magento customers outnumber and outperform their peers according to 2016 Internet Retailer 1000
CHICAGO, (Internet Retailer Conference + Expo) - June 7, 2016 – Magento Commerce, the worldwide leader in digital commerce today announced that 31% of mid-to-large companies rely on Magento for their commerce platform, more than any other vendor including Demandware and Hybris. Further, Magento now powers over 25% percent of all ecommerce sites in the Alexa top one million sites list, more than any other ecommerce platform.
Also, Magento has 45 customers with more than $100 million in annual online sales, 53% more than Demandware. Magento customers include: Coach, Birchbox, Zumiez, Signature Hardware, QVC Europe, and Jomashop.

Not only do more merchants choose Magento, those that do regularly out-perform their peers. According to the Internet Retailer 2016 1000 data, on average, merchants using Magento grew commerce sales three times faster year-over-year than merchants using other digital commerce platforms.
