Traditionally, custom home décor products have been handled entirely offline, resulting in time-consuming paperwork and logistics. In addition, customers view fabric swatches for draperies, bedding, or other items without knowing how the finished product will look in their home. Loom Décor saw an opportunity to gain a leading, competitive edge in the industry with simple online ordering and visualization, and partnered with Perficient Digital to deploy a remarkable online customer experience using Magento.

 

Perficient Digital expanded the limits of Magento by developing a product configurator that incorporates Adobe Scene7 with Magento’s bundled product functionality to display dynamic product imagery. In the process, every detail from product data structure to user-interaction were thoroughly explored to deliver the ultimate responsive site. Magento was used to build a pricing engine to handle the complex pricing structure of the custom products since the prices would change based on user selections.

Loom Décor also seamlessly integrates with social media platforms, making it simple for customers to share their designs on Pinterest, Facebook, and Houzz. The end results are one of the most customized and user-friendly Magento sites on the internet today with an experience designed around needs of their designer clientele.

Since launching on Magento 2.x, Loom Décor has seen remarkable results. Conversion rates have increased by 42% with the number of site visitors growing by 82%. Year-over-year revenues skyrocketed by 150%.
